With 25 subjects to choose from, 5th year students at The Institute of Education can create their own timetable. Students can also change or take up a new subject at certain times under the supervision of a guidance counsellor.
Students cover 75% of the subject content in their 5th year lessons, with regular testing and continuous assessment in all subjects.
Students have access to a range of extra-curricular activities and are also provided with constant academic mentoring, study skills seminars, career guidance and a dedicated student welfare officer, providing them with an invaluable foundation for 6th year.

Sport takes on an important role here at the Institute too …
“To me, this course has not only been a test of my physical ability but also a test of my will power, and ability to stay calm & perform under pressure”.
Our kickboxing class is probably one of the most unique you will ever attend, Karate and Taekwondo combined with cardio exercises.
