Learning a new language gives students the opportunity to communicate with a greater range of people. The same could be said for coding, which gives young people the ability to impact those around them with innovative technologies.
This year, for the first time since the 4th year programme’s inception, our 4th year students are learning to code as part of a weekly module.
Students are learning the basics of HTML, and by the end of the module will be able to create their very own website from scratch.
Coding is often cited as one of the most employable skills globally, so our 4th years are certainly getting a great head start for the future.
