The world of ancient Greece was brought to life at the start of June for our Classical Studies students, when they visited Greece as part of the Institute’s first classics trip.
A group of 29 students and three staff participated in the trip this year, which took in the major archaeological and historical sites on mainland Greece and the Peloponnese, including Olymipa, Delphi, the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus and more.
The tour was a huge success, and our local expert guide ensured that it was educational as well as fun!
Huge thanks to teacher Cian Hogan for organising this wonderful educational experience. We’re looking forward to next year’s trip already!
