The annual Gaisce adventure trip took place in Carlingford, Co. Louth last weekend, when 74 of our 4th year students took part in the Adventure Challenge part of the President’s Award.
Thankfully the weather stayed dry and sunny throughout the long and challenging 2 days of hill walking. Students also got to practice their map reading skills and take in the breath taking views. In the evening students enjoyed a home cooked dinner, relaxed in the games room and showcased their musical talents.
Well done to all Gaisce students for completing this tough but enjoyable challenge and a big thank you to the Carlingford Adventure Centre for their warm welcome and excellent facilities.
