Our 5th year home economics students enjoyed a day at the renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School at the start of June.
On arrival, students received a tour of the school’s organic farm and herb garden, followed by a cookery demonstration by chef Rachel Allen. After this they donned their aprons and prepared a three course meal, which they had the pleasure of eating before they headed back to Dublin that evening.
It was a fantastic day and special thanks to Sandra Cleary, our Home Economics teacher, for organising such an interesting and enjoyable trip!
