The Institute of Education is delighted to welcome Irish international sprinter Brian Gregan to our school as Head of our Health & Fitness Programme.

Brian is an athlete who has won a silver medal at the European Championships and has represented Ireland at International track events for over 10 years. In 2017 Brian was named as Athletics Ireland Athlete of the Year. Brian has a BA in Sports Science and a Level 2 coaching qualification.

In his role as Head of our Health & Fitness Programme, Brian will be coaching the Institute’s athletics team, taking weekly fitness classes with students and giving weekly talks on nutrition and health. Brian will also be the health and wellness advisor to students and during the first week of term will be meeting staff and students throughout the school.

We wish Brian every success in his new role.
